Client Service Associate
It was pretty easy, I went through like three interview stages, two of them were virtual and the last one was on-site. There was also a case study involved. Honestly, it wasn't that hard to get through as long as you felt confident.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself and what makes you interested in this position?
Client Services Manager
I saw an ad on LinkedIn and reached out about the role. It wasn't exactly my field, but I was interested in law and the manager title sounded cool. I had two phone interviews, pretty basic, just moving me along. Then they sent a proofreading test, 40 mins, had to scan it back in, which was weird. It felt like the job was mostly proofreading or being a scapegoat for document errors. Next was an in-person interview. The office was disorganized, interviewers had to borrow desks. Lots of document production, hectic. Interviews were easy, they didn't know my resume well. My second interviewer was unprepared. It seemed the work was more about tab organization and headers, not really proofreading. Also needed early hours and weekend availability. Nothing major, but it became clear it wouldn't be a super satisfying job, like the worst parts of being a paralegal. In between, there was a short, easy logic test, like a mini LSAT. Got a call the next day with the job offer. They pushed for a quick decision, weren't happy I needed a week. Then they called mid-week saying they'd look elsewhere if I didn't accept soon. When I accepted another offer, they thanked me for wasting their time. I don't think expecting time to decide is unreasonable. I agreed to start immediately, which I thought was flexible. Based on my experience and reviews, I think I dodged a bullet. At first, their $40k offer seemed okay after a year unemployed.
- A logic test was administered.
Client Services
I had a recruiter call from HR asking typical screening questions for the sales position I applied for. Then the same HR person called me again asking the same screening questions for the same position, like she forgot talking to me. After about 3 weeks, I got another call from the same HR person about a different position. She asked some screening questions about that role and again forgot she had already spoken to me twice. Then, I had an on-site interview that was about 2 hours long with the HR person and 2 other people from the department. A week later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job due to my experience.
- Why are you interested in TransPerfect?
