Technical Support
I applied to Transcom a while ago and they just reached out for a final group interview. It was just me and another candidate, not on camera. We were asked three questions each by someone who seemed like she was just going through the motions and didn't seem to care about getting to know us. I was nervous but she just took notes and didn't react. Then, we were put in breakout rooms for questions about my internet, which was weird because my speeds were already way better than they required. We were brought back to the main room and she told me she had what she needed and they'd update me in 72 hours. The other candidate got to stay and talk privately, so I assume they got an offer. I woke up to a generic email saying they went with someone else and I could reapply. Worst experience ever, definitely not applying there again.

Business Development Executive
The interview process is moving slower than I hoped. HR initially reaches out to set up the interview, which is good. But after the interview, there's no follow-up. I've noticed that after the interview, there's no response or update about what's next, so candidates don't know where they stand. This lack of communication is annoying and can really impact how the candidate feels about the company.
- Can you start by introducing yourself and outlining your qualifications?
Bid Manager
The interview was really friendly and easy going. The interviewer looked like she had a lot of experience with this so she would make you feel very cozy and 'at home' while talking to her. It went pretty smooth, she was the most transparent person I have ever seen in the HR world - she basically explained to me budget, the process, timeline, everything! Unfortunately, there was a language issue with my application, and I got denied, but the denial came through a phone call from the HR person explaining to me the entire situation. Overall, I would totally apply for jobs here knowing someone did this incredible job for me to be all right.
- Tell me about what you know about our company.
- Can you walk me through your work history?
Customer Service Advisor
The interview process was not what I expected. I'm 32 and have a background in sales and customer service, and I'm tech-savvy. It was supposed to be a group interview, but I was the only one who showed up at my scheduled time. A recruiter informed me of this and transferred me to an individual interview room via Adobe Connect. The interview lasted about 25 minutes, leaving me confused and upset. I know three people who work at Transcom, and they were all offered the job after their interviews. I was told I'd receive an email within 72 hours. I have experience in cell phone sales, tech, recovery, call centers, and I own a small business. I was a bit nervous because I've been out of work for over a year due to COVID and homeschooling, but the experience left a bad impression.
- Tell me about a time you had a terrible job and explain why.
