I applied on the company site and a recruiter contacted me on Monday to set up a video chat with the hiring manager for Wednesday. The hiring manager mentioned they were hiring for 4 positions and creating a new team. They asked some general questions like 'tell me about yourself' and a few situational questions about what I'd do in certain scenarios. The manager seemed really interested, but it's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after following up with the recruiter. The Trane Technology team was at a career fair for women in manufacturing, and while other companies responded, Trane didn't reply to me or others. I'm not sure if they realize that communication is a two-way street.

The interview was pretty straightforward, a panel interview conducted via Zoom. The interviewers were friendly and kept the conversation going. They gave a good impression of the company's culture and benefits. I was also given ample opportunity to ask my own questions.

I applied during the height of covid. It was an in person interview with a panel of 4-5 people at their office. They said I'd hear back the next week, but I didn't for a month. I reached out and still nothing for about 2 weeks until the recruiter told me the job went to an internal candidate and they were waiting to see if they'd accept. After checking reviews, it seems like it worked out for the best. Don't bother applying unless you just want interview practice.
