Case

I interviewed for a role on the Heineken team. Strangely, all the questions were about Pepsi, not Heineken. When I asked about this, the interviewer clarified that the role was with TracyLocke, not Heineken, and I could be placed on any team as needed. This 'bait and switch' tactic seemed odd, especially since colleagues mentioned this is a common practice at TracyLocke, with some hired for Gatorade roles but placed in unrelated Pepsi positions initially. Due to this, I decided not to proceed to the next round. I have experience with beer, wine, and spirit clients, which is my desired career path.

Behavioral Other

I really bombed this interview! I went through 5 interviews, but they ended up sending me home after the fourth one. It was pretty embarrassing. My advice is to be professional at all times. I sent a follow-up email, and they were nice enough to tell me that my casual attitude was a major red flag and an immediate disqualifier for the hiring team. You might think I'm an idiot, but I was actually picking up on their vibe. Reading people is my job, and I'm pretty sure it was a test. They've got young people with nerf guns and empty beer bottles on their desks, but don't let that fool you. Even though they might use casual language like 'awesome' and 'totally,' stick to your professional vocabulary. They use self-deprecating humor, but you shouldn't. I've been in sales for 5 years and never been called unprofessional. Take this seriously: firm handshake, good posture, and always sell yourself. It's a shame I won't get to work with such a great company. I hope this review helps others who might need it.

Behavioral Presentation

I had an initial call with HR to get things set up for my first in-person interview. This involved two meetings: one with the Director, which took place at the airport, and another with the client at their office. After these meetings, HR contacted me with an offer.
