Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tractebel.
Project Engineer
The process kicked off with a recruiter chat to gauge my background, what drives me, and my soft skills. Next, a technical discussion with the project lead happened, checking my tech knowledge, past experiences, and how I'd tackle specific job-related problems. Each part took about 45 mins and included open-ended questions and case studies.
- Tell me about a challenging project you managed and how you handled it.
Project Engineer
- Are you willing to work abroad?
Design Engineer
The technical and business interview went really well, and I got an offer. Everything was smooth until the offer negotiation. The HR team's attitude wasn't great, and after they didn't do their homework, I felt blamed when the financials didn't match what I expected. Very unprofessional handling by HR.
