First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TracFone Wireless, Inc..

The interview process was pretty simple. I had two interviews with the Hiring Manager, and they were prepared and professional. It took about three weeks to get feedback after the interviews. If you get the job, expect another three weeks or so for processing.
- Can you work some Saturdays and Sundays?
Business Analyst
Got the interview as a contractor for TekPartners. It was a pretty quick 'get to know you' session with questions about my experience and how I'd fit. If you're hired as a contractor, you basically have the job if you get the interview. The PMO managers are usually too swamped to really dig deep in interviews. They just need a warm body for the problem. Interviewing for a full-time role is different depending on the manager. There's no standard process.
- How does your expertise relate to the projects you'll be working on?
Business Analyst
I was contacted by three different recruiters over two weeks about my interest in the role. The next stage of the interview was in a small, cramped room. The HR representative was very pleasant, but the hiring manager appeared irritated and somewhat aggressive, acting as if she were conducting the interview unwillingly. Because they could not reach my previous employer, they insisted on receiving all my past W2 forms, which I eventually found after a considerable search. Following the submission of this tax information, an HR representative contacted me and aggressively questioned me about inconsistencies, similar to how an IRS agent might interrogate someone suspected of fraud.
