First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TraceSecurity.
Intern
The interview was pretty standard. I talked to a few people who worked there, and they were all really nice. They asked me some basic questions and to tell them more about my past experience. It was a pretty typical interview experience overall.
- Can you tell me how you found out about this role?
- What are your thoughts on our company?
- What motivates your interest in this particular opportunity?
Manager
The interview process was very laid back, like the office environment in general. I met with a few people who worked within the department and then with the VP of Sales.
- Can you share your past sales experience?
Information Security Analyst
They hit me with some risk and security questions, plus networking ones. I got to ask them stuff too. Then they said there would be a written part: technical and non-technical writing. It's an entry-level gig.
- Could you compare and contrast quantitative and qualitative approaches to risk/security scenarios?
- What is the full name for VPN?
- What is the purpose of a VPN?
Information Security Analyst
After they reviewed my resume, I got a callback after a couple weeks. Then I had a phone interview with my direct supervisor. Following that, I went in for an onsite interview where I met with the team leader (who didn't ask technical questions) and my direct supervisor (who did ask technical questions).
- Can you explain the OSI model?
