Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Traba.
Sales Development Representative
The first interview was a short screening, about 15 minutes, with usual questions. After that, I had my 1st interview with someone above the SDR role, an Account Executive, and it was really bad. He asked questions I wasn't expecting and didn't seem excited about it.
- What kind of jobs are you looking for in your job hunt?
- What do you look for in companies?
- Why are you unique for this role?
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was pretty long and very structured. First, I had a call with HR. Then, I chatted with a current SDR. After that, there was an interview where I had to do a cold-call exercise and answer more behavioral questions. Then, I had a pre-call with the Director of Revenue, and finally, a meeting with the Director of Revenue. The last step would have been with the CEO. Some of the early interviews felt chill and like normal chats, but as it went on, it felt more like a script and less like a real person. In my last interview, they asked me to tell them about a personal experience that really shook me. When I gave them an honest answer, they told me multiple times it wasn't good enough and that I needed to dig deeper. I tried changing my answer a bunch of times but it didn't help, so I eventually said I couldn't make up experiences I hadn't lived. They rejected me the next morning. Overall, it was organized but didn't feel very empathetic. If you're someone who likes being real and having genuine conversations, this might be tough.
- What makes you want to join Traba?
- Can you share a personal experience that deeply affected you?
- Describe a personal experience that was profound for you.
Sales Development Representative
You'll start with a Google Meets interview with the head of the SDR team. If that goes well, you'll get an email with a case study. Someone else from the team will watch you present the case study, which is basically a mock call with a potential client. Make sure to really engage with the 'client' and ask them questions. After that, you'll have one or two more calls, max. Just a heads-up, the job involves working 9 AM to 9 PM daily.
