I have never wrote a review of an interview before but after seeing all of the negative reviews, I feel as though I should share some positive feedback of my experience. The building is absolutely stunning and you are asked where you have travelled from as soon as you arrive and your expenses are reimbursed which was great. I only waited around 10 minutes before I was called into my first interview with a lovely lady, she went through my cv, asking me about any experience I have and how that could benefit me in this role. She then wrote a marble probability question on the whiteboard, which was simple enough and I was then sent back out to wait for my second interview. I was then called in after another 10 minute wait, this time with two men. This interview was slightly more intense, they were both very pleasant people however they were much more intimidating and this felt much more pressured compared to the first interview. I was asked various random questions from statistic questions to 'If you were given a magic wand to make a wish, what would your wish be'. I was not prepared for so much mathematics to be asked so I did struggle and I made the error of over thinking each question I was asked, which I doubt helped me. I unfortunately did not get accepted for the role but after reading so many bad reviews I was hesitant to go but I am now very glad that I did. As long as you have common knowledge of basic statistics and probability and you can answer questions such as 'If you were in charge of the NHS for one day, what would you change and why' then you will be fine.
- What changes would you make if you were in charge of the NHS for a day, and why?
- In three to five words, how would your friends describe you?
- What would you wish for if you were given a magic wand?

Had a phone call first and then three face-to-face interviews at the office in Leeds. After each interview, you go back and wait to be called in for the next one. It's a pretty relaxed environment, but the senior interviewers are much more intimidating.
- Discuss a current event.
- What is the probability of picking a red or blue marble?
- Tell me about yourself.

I applied online and then got invited for a face-to-face interview. Even though I live in London and the job was in the South East, they wanted me to travel to Leeds for the interview. I was really keen on the job so I was happy to make the trip. But on my first attempt, my train got delayed for about 4 hours between London and Leeds because a tree fell on the tracks. This meant I missed my interview slot. TPP were cool about it though, and they said I could have another chance to interview, but not on that day. I asked if I could do a video call instead, especially since I'd already done an almost 11-hour round trip to Leeds, but they said no. Normally, I might get this, but we were in the middle of a pandemic where travelling was discouraged, so I thought their refusal was really unreasonable. Anyway, I agreed to travel to Leeds again and had the interview. It was less than 15 minutes and was a pretty casual chat with two people from the team. I was really disappointed that they'd expect someone to travel so far for such a short interview that could have easily been done over video. Maybe they weren't that interested in me from the start and cut it short, but I doubt it as they told me it would be short before it even began when I arrived.
- What makes you want to leave your current role?
- How would you handle presenting to a large audience?
