First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TPP.

So the first interview was super quick, like 8 minutes, just chatting about my CV. I left, but got barely 15 minutes down the road when they called asking me to come back immediately because they'd forgotten to have me fill out a form. Then I had a second interview with two guys who were a bit intimidating, and they asked me some maths and logic questions.
- What is 13 squared?
- What is the probability of rolling a 5 on a fair die?

I arrived at their Horsforth office and the reception area was being refitted. There were also 4 Uni students waiting for interviews for placement positions, which wasn't a great first impression. After waiting 15 minutes, a woman from the Recruitment Team called me in for what she said would be a 20-minute interview. This felt like another red flag. She asked me to talk about my recent work history, but didn't ask much else about my background or why I moved up north, even though she had my CV. I was asked one competency-based question. It's hard to see how they can choose the best candidate from such a short interview. I think I might have avoided a bad situation though.
- Can you describe your most recent work experience?
Office Administrator
I applied online through their website. They got in touch for a brief phone interview during the week and then invited me for an in-person interview at their office. The interview at their office lasted about 20 minutes, mostly asking me to elaborate on my CV/cover letter, followed by a few unexpected questions at the end.
- Given 8 balls and a scale, with one ball being heavier, how can you identify the heaviest ball using the scale only twice?
