Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TPG.
Analyst
It was a good process, the people were nice, and the office was nice. It was all normal questions and not too technically focused. They have strong culture and diverse people. The interview process was very comfortable, and I had no issues at all. I would recommend it for anyone looking in finance.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in working at tpg?
Analyst
The interviewers were all engaging and respectful during the whole process. I had really good conversations with the team members and they seemed to really want to hire someone that would be a good fit for the team. The process was pretty smooth overall.
- Tell me about the last book you read.
Analyst
It was competitive but fair. The team asked about my previous experiences, qualifications, and what I expected from the role. The interview was more qualitative than quantitative and went smoothly. I do wish there was more clarity on the next steps though, I was a bit confused.
- How would you contribute in the first 30 days?
