Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Toyota Tsusho.
Company Secretary
Toyota had a very well-maintained and friendly interview process. It was process-oriented and I had a nice experience. There were 5 rounds in total. The HR and senior management were very cordial.
- Could you introduce yourself and share your future aspirations?
Administration Assistant
I applied directly to the company via email. About a week later, I was invited for an initial interview. The HR person asked a set of questions and had me explain my experience based on my resume. There were two interview rounds in total, each lasting an hour. The only downside was that the whole process took two months to finish.
- Tell me about the most challenging aspect of your prior role and how you overcame it.
- Walk me through your previous work experiences as listed on your resume.
Administrative Assistant
The interview process was straightforward and relaxed, not bad at all. The interviewer was very nice and informative, and I felt she was down to earth and relaxed. She shared a lot of history about the company, as well as details on pay and benefits.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
