It was a pretty typical process, starting with an online application. Then, there was an online interview with a recruiter from an outsourcing company. The recruiter mentioned they would pass me on to the HR manager, but I never heard back from them after that.

I went for an interview, and then I had to chase them for two weeks for a response. Eventually, they told me that the HOD had a change of mind and decided to put a hiring freeze on the role. It's frustrating because companies should decide this at the beginning instead of wasting interviewees' time, especially when people take leave just to attend a face-to-face meeting.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The initial interview was with the machinery team leader. They explained the company and their work. I introduced myself and my skills. Questions were based on my CV, covering PLC programming, project management, foreign trade customs process, and supplier relations. They were surprised by my technical and management skills. The role is like a project manager but without sales targets. The starting salary is 55000 CZK, with some room for negotiation. The second interview was with the Japanese manager of the machinery department, who was also impressed. I was expecting a third interview, but received an email saying they were interested but couldn't confirm the next steps. Each interview was a month apart.

I applied in the Singapore branch and had 3 interviewers. The interview lasted about 45 minutes. They asked standard questions like introducing yourself and what you do, but also had unique analytical questions. I suggest looking online for practice to test yourself. Also, definitely read up on cars if you're serious about this role. I think they prefer candidates who are already passionate about cars, which I clearly wasn't.
