SAP Manager
Interview process was with HR then hiring manager and then panel interview at the toyota toronto office. The HR one is easy, the next one was easy. They make you do a presentation next which for me was the easy part. I am fortunate to be a strong public speaker. My feedback is pretend to be boring and just say simple answers.
- How would you go about building a center of excellence?
Manager
So I had this interview for a Manager position at Toyota. The HR was really unprofessional. The interview process started out well, I completed two rounds and was scheduled for my final interview. On the day of the interview, it got postponed. HR said it would be rescheduled. A week went by with no word, so I followed up. I got an automated reply saying the HR person was no longer available. I was understanding and reached out to the new HR person. Fast forward a month, and after a few polite emails asking for an update and CCing the hiring manager, I got nothing. Then, an automated email saying I was no longer being considered. It's fine to be rejected, but the way they led me on, weren't upfront, and dismissed me was incredibly disrespectful. Really expected better from Toyota.
- Tell me about your proudest achievement.
Management Trainee
The interview process involved an initial online screening, followed by a two-day in-person phase. Day one consisted of one-on-one conversations with staff from various departments like sales, marketing, and management. Day two was unique, involving a field shadowing experience with a 'Field Traveler.' This included a significant drive to a Dealership for a check-in and the subsequent drive back to the office. Apparently, this 'day in the field' isn't standard interview practice, according to the Field Traveler.
- If you were a Toyota car, which one would you be?
