Behavioral Technical

The interview planning was messy and late, and they were slow to respond afterward. It was a pretty typical behavioral interview with some general economics questions, not specific to the industry. They wouldn't tell me the salary. A senior person and a junior person (who hadn't gone through an MBA program) conducted the interview.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with an initial call with the Hiring Manager. Then, there were 3 onsite interviews: 2 one-on-one and 1 panel interview. During the panel interview, some interviewers were unprofessional, arguing and competing instead of interviewing. It felt like they weren't interested in hiring anyone, possibly because they've been conducting interviews for a long time. This was a very negative and disrespectful experience.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • The initial interview questions aligned with the job requirements, focusing on EA and related topics, and the hiring manager was professional and direct.
  • The second round interviews were disorganized; the questions asked and expectations during the onsite interviews were inconsistent with the stated requirements and seemed unrelated.
  • Some questions were unclear, and interviewers used external resources like Google to ask follow-up or counter-questions.

The interview process was easy and straightforward. They asked about my previous educational background and work history. The interview lasts for 30-40 min. In the end, they asked if I had any questions to ask which I didn't have. It was smooth after waiting a few days for an acceptance letter.

I interviewed with Toyota FSI. Although the recruiters tried to make me feel comfortable, they were unprofessional and unclear about the candidate profile and salary. I only got feedback after pushing, and it came through a third party, which was frustrating. I wasn't selected because they wanted more of a manager's perspective than an experienced professional's, and it was clear I was over budget. The role was reposted six months later, likely because the chosen candidate couldn't do the job. The hiring process definitely needs improvement.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • I was shown a budget with department figures without being asked anything.
