I talked with the Assistant Director and Study Director for the role. It was a single interview round. The Assistant Director first went over the details of the job and the company, then they asked me some questions about my background and if I was interested in the job.
- Tell me about your education.
- Can you describe your experience?
- Why are you interested in this role?

I interviewed in October 2021. After a recruiter call, I had an on-site interview. I wasn't given a schedule beforehand, but I kind of expected that from other interviews. There were four interviews, each about half an hour: the department head, the study lead, the lab manager, and HR. They went into more detail about the role itself. Everyone was really nice and professional. I liked the company, but I ended up taking another offer that was for a similar job but in a better location for me. The recruiter did reach out about a week later to confirm I had taken another job because they were planning to extend an offer.
- Can you tell me about yourself and elaborate on the aspects of your background that are pertinent to this position?
- How did you discover this job opening?
- What are your compensation expectations?

Started with a phone screen with some basic questions about my background and career goals. Then I had an in-person interview. It involved meeting with HR, a couple of managers, and then the director. Overall, it was a pretty straightforward process without too many difficult questions. I received an offer the very next day.
- Are you comfortable working with animals?
- Do you prefer working independently or as part of a team?
- What is your experience working in vivo?
