It kicked off with this online assessment, super hard questions, I only got one fully right and another one passed like half the test cases, out of three total. Even so, I got into the first technical round, where it was all about Data Structures and Algorithms/Competitive Programming, plus some basic C++ stuff. Round two was about designing a system with OOP in C++, and some Operating Systems questions. Then, the hiring manager round, focusing on low-level system design and talking about my previous projects and internships. The last step was HR, just the usual behavioral questions.

The interview process started with an Aptitude Round, which had medium to hard level MCQ questions focusing on Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. For this, you can check out Arun Sharma's Aptitude book. Then, there was a Coding Round with 3 coding questions – one medium and two hard. The coding questions included two 2D DP problems and one graph problem, and this round lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Lastly, there was an Interview Round where they asked 2 questions: one on BST and another on DP on Subsequences. This round took about 45 minutes.

The hiring process at Tower Research, which doesn't seem to hire much, took about two months to complete. There were around six rounds in total, and they definitely took their time making a decision. One time, the interviewer didn't show up for the call and it had to be rescheduled. Another time, there was a last-minute schedule change for the discussion, and it had to be changed again. Then, when I followed up on my application status, I got a generic email response from HR, the kind they send when a profile isn't shortlisted. After dedicating a good 7-8 hours over two months to their process, candidates should really get specific feedback instead of just a standard reply.
