Sales Manager
The interview process was a disaster. I arrived and they had misplaced my application, requiring me to fill out a new one at a desk. While I was doing this, the two people present seemed to be pretending to be busy. Once I finished, the interviewer approached, acting very unprofessional. He was unkempt and didn't seem serious. He had a list of questions and randomly asked all 30 of them without really following it. After asking all the questions, he informed me the salary was only 30K, the market was struggling, and the company's future was uncertain. He then ended the interview, which felt like a complete waste of 90 minutes. To top it off, he rushed because he had an oil change appointment, his only scheduled event of the day.

Branch Manager Trainee
I initially connected with a recruiter at a college fair who was excited about my upcoming graduation and suggested I reach out closer to that time. Following up, I scheduled an interview. The atmosphere was very relaxed, unlike typical formal interviews. The process included a Wonderlic test (which can be practiced beforehand) and a personality assessment. Additionally, a credit check is performed, and any overdue or collection accounts will require an explanation. The interview itself was straightforward, with approximately 30 questions. While the base salary for this commission-based role is modest, I anticipate that bonuses and incentives will compensate for it. The benefits package is excellent, including access to vacation homes for up to eight people. Trainees do not receive paid time off, but this is available for managers. It sounds like it will be an enjoyable position.

Manager Trainee
I got a call 45 minutes before they closed asking if I was still interested, and when I said 'yes' they told me to come in twenty minutes later to fill out an application. Then they told me to check out the practice questions online and call when I was ready for the test. I called the next morning, and the manager left about five minutes after I started the test, saying they were going to lunch and would call later, but didn't give me any instructions on what to do after the test, and nobody else stepped in to help. Later that day, after 4:00 p.m., I got a call asking if I could come in to talk. I decided to dress up since I wasn't sure if it was an interview or not. When I arrived, the manager said, 'this is good because the last two times you showed up, you had on blue jeans.' They then started questioning me about the vehicle I was driving (why it had a different state license plate on it). When I explained, they dug deeper, asking more questions as if this would help them decide if I should get the job. They then proceeded with the interview right on the work floor, with one employee on the phone, another walking around barefoot, and the radio blasting, all interrupting the interview. I left feeling unhappy with their questioning, as some of it felt too personal since they hadn't met me. I decided I didn't want to work there under that manager. A few days later, I found out they checked my credit without telling me or asking permission when I got an email from Tower Loan about it.

Store Manager
I got a phone call about a Store Manager job. When I got to the office, the manager had me do a skills test. It took over three hours because of computer problems, and the manager barely talked to me the whole time. I went home and they called to say I passed and wanted me back for another interview. The hiring manager was still rude and didn't really interview me. Instead, she told me to go home and write answers to interview questions and email them to her. I did that, and then got a rejection notice saying I didn't want to relocate, which was false. Worst company ever.
