This was an easy interview with no issues, lasting probably 10-15 minutes. If you like in-and-out interviews, this is good for you. It's like a questions and answering type of conversation. I can see this company being a company that'll hire you on the spot if they like you enough.

Applied online and then came in to talk to a floor manager about my interest. They scheduled an in-person interview. I brought a resume, but they could also generate it from my online application. The interview was informal and held in a cramped, locked-off office. I only spoke with one floor manager, not the GM. Since I knew they needed to hire quickly, it worked to my advantage for a fast process. There was a long wait for background check clearance from HR, who are located out of state, even though it only takes a phone call. HR informed me it had been approved two weeks prior.

Applied online and about a week later got an email from HR about a hiring event. It started with a group of 4 of us meeting the HR head for intros and some role playing to showcase our selling skills. Then I had a one-on-one with an assistant manager to discuss my background and my interest in Total Wine. We also talked through some selling scenarios and how I'd give top-notch customer service. Next, I took a personality test with about 100 questions. Finally, I met with the store manager who covered similar ground as the assistant manager, asking about past customer interactions, my availability, my expectations from the company, and what the company could expect from me. The last steps are a drug test and background check.
