I applied for a stocker job, but it's called Merchandiser. About a week after applying, I got a call for an interview. When I got there, they took me to a classroom for a 30-minute interview with the assistant manager. They asked me a bunch of open-ended questions and then asked me to come back for a second interview the next day. The second interview was similar to the first but with the manager. It was longer, about an hour and a half, and I also got a tour of the store and learned about the daily tasks of a merchandiser. They also talked about the job benefits and company culture. The following week, I got an email about a background check and drug test. Be aware, this isn't a standard drug test; it's a 10-panel test that even checks for antidepressants! The background check and drug test results came back to the company in about 4 days.

I applied online on January 1st. About three weeks later, I got an email saying the job I applied for was filled, but they had another opening. I had an interview with the Hiring Manager that Tuesday. The next day, I had a second and third interview, plus a tour. I got an offer at the end of the tour. Everyone was really friendly and even joked around a bit. Each manager read questions from a corporate-generated sheet. They were scenario questions. They'd ask, I'd answer, and they'd give feedback. The hiring manager asked about my availability and fit for the company. The department manager talked about the job and asked fewer questions. He was a really friendly guy. Finally, a store manager asked a few scenario questions about customer service. Afterwards, someone from my department gave me a tour of the store and back areas. He was friendly and introduced me to the staff. Only a few wine associates seemed a bit distant. I'm waiting for an email for paperwork now, but that's it.

The hiring process was super easy and fast. Right after I applied, I got a phone call, and then I had one in-person chat where they asked all the usual stuff. They made me an offer right then and there, and told me when to start my video training.
