First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Total Access Urgent Care.
Technician
It was a 3 step interview, not too tough but the questions tend to be similar. They ask about your work ethic, your interests, and your future aspirations. The interviewers were friendly. You don't need any specific certifications for this role. There was also a role-playing exercise involved.
- Can you describe a situation where you disagreed with a company policy at a previous job?
EMT
It's a solid hiring system they have, starts with an online app then a phone screen to talk about the role and pay. After that, there's an online test with some basic and tricky questions, but it's not too hard. If you pass, they'll call you with the results and email you to set up an interview. The actual interview is pretty chill, like a normal chat. Definitely practice the role play part though, it’s not a huge deal but helps to know the stuff they send you to study. The interview has 2 rounds, the first with three people and the second with two, each around 20-25 mins total. Just be yourself, show you're passionate, and you'll be good.
- When have you disagreed with a policy and what was the reason?
- Could you tell us about yourself and your interest in working for TAUC?
- Describe a time at your previous job where you faced a problem and how you dealt with it.
Receptionist
The interview process for me took a few weeks. It started with an initial phone interview. After that, I had to take a general aptitude test that lasted over an hour. Then, I had a two-part in-person interview. The first part felt like a trial run and went pretty well. The second part was really uncomfortable; they typed everything I said into their computer as I was talking. The two people interviewing me weren't smiling, positive, or friendly at all. They mentioned they were looking for someone with high energy, but they themselves didn't seem to have much energy and weren't very engaged. For some reason, my volunteer work, which is only two hours a week or less, seemed to be a problem for them. They also asked me what my current job was, even though I had already explained that I had moved from another state and couldn't transfer my previous job. I got the impression they're looking for someone who will just agree with everything and recite scripts without being genuine. I got a phone call telling me I didn't get the position, which honestly, an email would have been sufficient for.
- Can you share an instance where you disagreed with a workplace policy and describe how you addressed it?
- Could you tell me about your current job?
- What is your current job situation?
Emergency Medical Technician
I interviewed here a few months back and don't recall everything, but I have some info that might help others. I used Glassdoor questions to prep, and they were super useful. Then, they asked if I had questions, and I asked my usual ones. But then, there was a surprise second part where I met two more people from the team. They asked me more questions and if I had any for them. It caught me off guard a bit, so just wanted to mention the first interview might have two parts. Oh, and there was a mock phone call, but they give you the info beforehand to get ready.
