First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Toshiba.
Software Developer
We had an online assessment with two programming questions and four aptitude sections covering oops concepts. After that, there were two rounds of interviews. In the first round, questions about C programming, linked lists, and OOPS concepts were asked, along with one DSA question in the second round. Three of us, including myself, made it to the second round. However, after the second round, we were informed about a hiring freeze, and all three of us were rejected at the same time.
- Questions were asked regarding C programming, linked lists, and OOPS concepts in the first round.
- One DSA question was asked in the second round.
Software Development Engineer
It started with an online test, then went to technical interview 1, then technical interview 2. After that, there was an HR round. Then, they asked more about projects and coding questions, plus some LeetCode style problems. The process concluded with an offline interview in person where two interviewers spoke with me and asked some puzzle questions.
- Tell me about OOPS concepts and DSA questions.
- Do you have any questions about your projects and coding?
Software Engineer
it was a 3 stage process: first a remote meeting with the head of the department to talk about the project and see if i was interested. then a second remote meeting with the head of the department and the software team lead where they asked some technical questions, but no coding tests or demos were involved. finally, an on-site visit included a tour, a chat with the software team over coffee, and then a 15-minute presentation from me on a topic I chose, followed by the standard interview questions.
- Are you familiar with coding style guides?
