So we had a group interview with about 7 of us. We were a bit late getting picked up. Once we got upstairs, we immediately went down to the store floor. We were given an activity to find an outfit for an occasion within a budget of £80 and had 10 minutes. It felt like a lot of pressure. Then, after another wait, we went to the back to explain our outfit choices and reasoning. After that, we had a group interview, and I went first. We then signed some contracts before a very short 1:1 interview, like 2 minutes max, and then we were done. It's been two days and I haven't heard back about the job, even though he said he'd call by the end of the day.

The interview was quite long, lasting a few hours. It involved group activities and one-on-one interviews. First, we had to create an outfit for a specific customer profile using clothes from the shop floor, working in groups. Then, there was a game similar to snakes and ladders focused on customer service questions. They also asked some icebreaker questions. The final part was a one-on-one interview.

Applied online and got an email the same morning for an interview two days later at the St. Paul's Cheapside store for the Oxford Street branch position. Arrived 20 minutes early and was escorted to the staff room with 3 other candidates. Ended up being a group interview with about 10-12 people. We were asked to introduce ourselves, state why we wanted to work for Topshop, and share an interesting fact. I suggested having a weird fact, like my Mexican eyebrow wave, and also brought my skateboard. We were then split into two groups to discuss what makes a great customer advisor and good customer service. Two other candidates arrived late and confused. Our group wrote down points about good customer service and did a skit showing good vs. bad sales advising, adding some comedy. We were then asked about our preferences for Topshop and why we chose them, mentioning their promotion of individuality and diversity and celebrity endorsements. Afterwards, we had individual 1-on-1 interviews. I was asked about my availability, contact details, and proof of UK residency. I was told I'd get a call back if successful, which I did about 3 weeks later. My advice is not to dress too formally for the group interview as it's laid back, research the brand, be vocal and engage with ideas, and relax.
