R&D Engineer
We start by looking at all the applications we get. We check your resume, cover letter, and anything else you send. If you seem like a good fit, our HR team will give you a quick 30-minute call.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What are your strengths?
R&D Engineer
I applied for the role through JobStreet and heard back from them about 2 weeks later. They started with some general questions, asking why I chose Top Glove and also about my weight and height. After a week, I got an email saying I was shortlisted for a virtual interview. I was interviewed by two managers who were really friendly and helpful. They asked me about my FYP and some scenario-based questions. The hiring process took a long time overall, even though the questions were quite simple.
- What makes you want to join Top Glove?
- Can you discuss your final year project?
- Have you ever had any disagreements with a former supervisor or employer?
Research Engineer
The interview process was very casual and relaxed. It was quite long, 1 hour and 30 minutes, but the interviewer was nice and he even explained why he asked all the questions. There was a 1 hour writing test before the interview. Questions involved IQ test, mathematics and personality as well as an essay on your future career plan.
- Technical questions like heat transfer
- What info would you need to install a pump
- Tell me about your final year project
