First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Top Glove.
QA Engineer
I had to prepare and present a slideshow about myself. I think this is pretty hard for new grads. They asked a lot about job scope and the work process. Also, the staff seemed unfriendly.
- Could you describe your responsibilities as a QA engineer?
- Can you explain the difference between Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC)?
QA Manager
It was okay, not too harsh. A good experience after all, however, the interviewers seemed rushed and quite friendly. The questions were for testing personality and communication skills only.
- What is your expected salary?
- Can you tell me about your education?
- What are your work experiences?
Quality Assurance Engineer
So first, I got a call from HR, and they asked me some basic stuff like my education, what I'm doing now, and my age. They also asked about my health, like my weight, height, and if I smoke. Then they wanted to know why I picked this job and when I could come in for an in-person interview. A few days later, I got another call asking me to interview with the manager. When I got to the factory, the HR folks looked at my application, resume, and all my certificates, both copies and originals. They then checked my BMI, printed it out, attached it to my resume, and put all the documents on the manager's desk. The manager had a list of questions, and she asked them one by one, writing down my answers. The interview took about an hour and a half. After that, I had to do a writing assessment that took about 45-60 minutes. The whole thing, from checking in to the writing test, took around 3-4 hours.
- Tell me about your strengths.
