Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Top Glove.
Marketing Executive
Went through the interview during MCO, completed 5 tests (IQ, Math, behavioral, etc.). Then had 3 virtual interviews with the Marketing Senior Manager, Marketing GM, and the Managing Director of Top Glove. They were all very friendly and nice.
- Tell us about yourself
- Can you tell us about your hobbies and previous employment based on your CV?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Marketing Executive
The interview process had 2 stages, with your manager and head of department. They required a written assessment of 5 papers within 1 hour, which was more like an IQ test and ethical questions. This is for BMI, and they prefer staff who play sports, are healthy, and positive. The interview session was a casual talk, but they asked questions according to your CV.
- What sports are you involved in?
- How often do you engage in sports?
- Tell me about your sport participation and frequency.
Marketing Executive
I interviewed during MCO Malaysia by the end of April, and the interview process was quite long. First, HR called me for an initial brief interview. Then, they sent me an email for the first interview. Before the interview, I had to complete an online assessment with 5 sets of questions covering behavior, IQ, values, etc. After that, there was the first interview with my reporting manager, followed by a second interview with the Marketing Manager, and then a third interview with the Managing Manager.
- What makes you interested in joining our company?
- Can you share more about your previous work experiences?
- What are your core values?
