The interview process for this role, which is in an engineering department, surprisingly didn't focus much on engineering topics. Instead, they asked mostly situational questions that were geared towards their company's core values.

Since I was overseas, the company conducted the interview via Skype and let me choose a convenient time. The questions were quite manageable, like 'tell me about yourself', 'do you have a driver's license', and 'what design projects have you done in university?'. The interview lasted 15 minutes with two male interviewers. I received an offer email the next day.

Had a 1-hour assessment followed by a 2-hour interview with 3 interviewers initially. Two of them asked me general questions from A-Z about my family and my dad's job. Things were going okay until another interviewer joined. She wasn't happy with my answer about post-internship plans (I mentioned work and travel). Afterwards, I asked about my application status, and she asked her colleagues and told me I'd know the result in 3 weeks. Overall, it wasn't a great experience, and as an HR person, professionalism is key. If you're applying for an HR job at TG, consider if you can handle stress, doing multiple people's jobs, and working late. The manager said that even if you do a project 200% correctly, if the manager says it's wrong, you'll have to work overtime (without extra pay) to fix it.
