Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Too Good To Go.
Growth Marketing
They asked me a bunch of generic questions for the growth marketing role. I was asked about my background, why I applied here, and it seemed like they already had a lot of other people in mind. The interviewer seemed really robotic, and I got the vibe they had already chosen someone before I even started. I didn't move on past the second stage.
- What motivated you to apply for this job?
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Why do you feel you'd be a strong fit for this position?
Marketing
We had a nice interview, focusing a lot on personal fit. We talked about engagement and connection to sustainability (and how to deal with food waste). The chat was to learn more about your skills, motivation, and suitability for the job and there were no tough questions. You should know the company culture and values of Too Good To Go.
- What relevant experience do you bring?
- Can you give an example of a difficult situation at work and how you handled it?
- Describe a situation where you successfully collaborated in a team.
Marketing
I had three interviews. First, HR, then the manager, and finally, I did a rather extensive practical case study that I then had to present. The feedback on the practical exercise was really good and I felt very comfortable during the process. However, two days later, I received a message saying the process was on hold due to internal restructuring, but that they really liked my profile. It really annoyed me because I dedicated a lot of time and effort to that case, which ultimately was undervalued.
- What is your motivation for working at the company?
- What can you bring to the company?
