Sales Account Manager

Sales · nearly a year ago

Mid Average Negative experience No offer

I put a lot of care and time into writing my cover letter and uploading the attachments for the position. Unfortunately, after three weeks and several follow-up emails, there was no response at all. After one month (!), you get a standard rejection email: no feedback, nothing. They post the sales vacancies again every week, probably to collect CVs. They will surely get a lot of responses, but I think it's below par that they don't have the respect to properly handle the candidates who do their best.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The hiring process was way too long. 5 interviews!!! First, an online screening with 5 questions to answer, then a call with HR, then a case study, then an in-person interview with the account management director, an account manager, and HR, followed by an interview with the account management team. It's crazy. At some point, you have to give people a chance, that's what the trial period is for if you make a mistake. Especially when you find out after the 4th interview that "our profile doesn't match", that could have been seen on the CV from the start instead of wasting 3 weeks of candidates' time. I find that really borderline.
