Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tony Roma's.
Server
The interview process was very straightforward and focused on my past industry experience, even if it wasn't directly as a server. Since I came from a restaurant background, working as a busser and host, they evaluated my skills and knowledge from those related positions.
- What prompted your departure from your last position?
Server
The interview was quick and simple. The manager was really nice. Everyone was welcoming and I was offered a seat in a quiet part of the restaurant. The manager asked about my availability and what I hoped to get out of working here.
- What are your goals for this position?
Server
I had a one on one interview with an assistant manager. Then I came back to be interviewed by a General Manager. We talked about how I had a lot of waitress experience and had worked for Tony Romas before at a different location. That worked in my favor because it meant I wouldn't need as much training.
- What days can you work?
