I had to make a pizza. It was hard because I was not used to their dough texture but the people were friendly and encouraging and I would have taken the job if they had offered it.

The interview process was very straightforward and focused on my past industry experience, even if it wasn't directly as a server. Since I came from a restaurant background, working as a busser and host, they evaluated my skills and knowledge from those related positions.

I met with the operations manager, who oversees multiple locations, and then the general manager. The operation manager was very methodical and asked questions like an exam. My interview with the GM was probably the best interview I’ve ever had. It was more deciding if we would be a good fit to truly mesh in the work place. I stayed an extra hour just to chat.

Behavioral

I had a one on one interview with an assistant manager. Then I came back to be interviewed by a General Manager. We talked about how I had a lot of waitress experience and had worked for Tony Romas before at a different location. That worked in my favor because it meant I wouldn't need as much training.
