Behavioral Technical Presentation

After submitting my application, I got a call back two weeks later. The whole process took three weeks because some managers were away. It involved several tests like Menu, Drinks, and Life-style, and one-on-one chats with each of the three managers and some waitstaff. It was pretty relaxed, but I had to dress up even though they have an "island life-style" vibe. You really need to know the restaurant's culture and menu.

I applied for the Server role at a job fair when the restaurant reopened. I had an on-the-spot interview with a manager. A week later, I went back for a second interview with a different manager. This one wasn't really an interview; the manager just looked over my application and resume and chatted with me for a bit before approving me for the next step. It felt like a formality. My final interview with the GM was quick and involved some basic questions. I got the job offer right then and there.

I was asked to come in for a second interview. When I got there, they told me to wait at a high-top table. After about an hour, they asked if I wanted to reschedule because they couldn't find the manager who was supposed to interview me. The staff apologized and was very nice, but I drove an hour for this.
