Software Development Engineer in Test
A friend referred me, so I sent in my resume. After CV screening, I had a coding challenge on Hackerrank that took 40 minutes. Then, I had an HR interview for about 20 minutes, followed by a live coding session for the user interview that lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes. Finally, I had a background check.
- How would you reverse a string?
- What's the approach to find the most frequent character in a string?
- Can you explain how to swap values?
Software Development Engineer in Test
Not sure if it was HR interview or online assessment first. After those, there's a user interview test. Then two interviews from the user before the final offering interview.
- They explored logical thinking beyond just coding.
- They asked coding questions.
Software Development Engineer in Test
Applied at Tokopedia's career site, then went through screening, an online assessment on HackerRank, an HR interview, User I, and finally User II. I was told I'd get an email within a week after User II about whether I was accepted or rejected, but I never received anything even after a month. I followed up with HR twice but was ghosted, which was disappointing since it had been great up to that point.
- Questions about your personality and past experiences, plus other general HR topics.
- A live coding session.
- Questions to gauge your technical knowledge and assess your culture fit.
