First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TMZ.
Intern
It was a three-round process. Two rounds were with HR, and one was with the producer I'd be working under. It wasn't too bad; everyone was really nice. I felt like I made some mistakes, but they reassured me.
- What is your approach to reporting this story?
Intern
Standard drill -- FaceTime interview, then in-office interview. They're professionals but all channel this energy for the company, which helped me become even more excited during the interview. They're truly interested in knowing how you will contribute to the company's growth. The in-person interview was in-depth and it definitely didn't seem like they were doing it just to knock it out.
- What makes you want to intern at TMZ?
Intern
After sending your resume, they'll reach out if they like it. The process is pretty quick and seamless, with two rounds: one with HR and one with the department. Everyone is super nice and helpful.
