Customer Care Specialist
So the interview process was kinda wild. It started with this big group thing at a hotel, like a cattle call, with way more people than I expected. I actually got there late and ended up just listening to everyone else get interviewed, which actually helped me out a lot. I guess I passed that round because I made a connection. Then, a few days later, I had an interview at their office, right around Christmas. They told me it would be 3 hours. The steps were: 1) Phone screen, 2) The group interview thing, 3) Shadowing someone for an hour to see what the job is like, 4) 15 minutes to get ready for something you have to learn, 5) A 2-person interview using the STAR method, followed by a mock phone call right there, and 6) A final in-person interview that didn't happen because it was the holidays and they couldn't find someone. They weren't sure if I'd need to come back. I also saw this review online that said the whole process is really long with multiple interviews, a voice test, online quiz, background check, and drug test, which seems like a lot for the pay. The people interviewing me seemed pretty tired and not very friendly, like a 'terminator' style interview. Honestly, I'm not even mad I didn't get the job, especially after reading more about it.
- Typical Star Interview questions
Customer Service Representative
I attended a job fair for the position. The interview was a one-on-one with a nice and friendly interviewer. We discussed the company for about 15 minutes, then the job details for another 20 minutes. The main issue was that the job description said 'inside pharmaceutical sales' but it was actually customer service cold calling. This was disappointing, and the pay was lower than expected. Despite this, I had a generally positive experience and kept in touch with the interviewer every few days. Unfortunately, I didn't get the job because I don't have prior experience in cold calling.
- What's your approach when dealing with an irate doctor or receptionist on the phone?
Customer Care Specialist
I met with three supervisors at a career fair. After that, I had a phone interview and then came in to turn in the documents I needed. A drug screen and background checks were also required. I started the job about two months after that.
