Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TMF Group.
Software Engineer
In the interview, they ask in detail about the projects you've been involved in, specifying the technologies used (like JavaScript, Python, Docker, Kubernetes) and the sectors you've worked in (finance, health, education). Also, they inquire about your previous roles, the responsibilities you took on, the results you got, and the challenges you overcame. They also want to know about challenging experiences that tested your problem-solving skills, team leadership, time management, and quick adaptation to unforeseen changes.
- Can you tell me about projects you've worked on, what technologies you used, and which industries you have experience in?
- What were your responsibilities and achievements in your previous roles, and what challenges did you face?
- Tell me about a challenging situation you encountered that required strong problem-solving skills.
Software Developer
The interview process had two rounds: aptitude and technical. The first step is resume selection. Once your resume is selected, you prepare for the aptitude round. The process is smooth, and you get results the next day.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What questions do you have based on my CV?
Senior Software Engineer
I cleared the interview and was told I would get an offer. After following up multiple times, I was told I would get an offer in a week, but they never came through. Their HR service is very poor; they make false promises. They never explicitly said no, but in over 2 months, they didn't release an offer. It was a waste of time, don't rely on this company.
- What are your Angular questions?
