Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TMEIC International Corporation.
Applications Engineer
The process was quick and to the point. It involved a panel interview with the hiring managers and then a round with HR. I felt a good connection in both meetings. The atmosphere was laid-back, more like a chat between people who know each other. It wrapped up faster than I anticipated, one of the speediest interviews I've had. However, there was a bit of a gap in expectations during the offer negotiation, which led me to decline it, a decision I slightly regret.
- Are you comfortable with Japanese culture?
Applications Engineer
The interview process was non-technical, focusing on situations and behavioral aspects. The turnaround and response times were extremely slow from everyone involved; it was very unresponsive. There were many rounds. I'm unsure why a psychometric interview was included at the end.
- Tell me about a situation you encountered.
- What would you do in this hypothetical scenario?
- Were there any psychological assessments involved?
Field Engineer
The people were nice and the work seemed cool but the interview process took a really long time. They scheduled a lot of interviews and took too much time in between each one. I actually got 2 other job offers while waiting between my HR phone screen and the final TMEIC interview.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Profinet?
