Behavioral Technical Presentation

Had a 30-minute phone screen with the recruiter, then a 30-minute Zoom with the hiring manager, followed by a 30-minute Zoom with a Consultant, and finally a 30-minute Zoom with the company President. Everyone was nice and professional. Unfortunately, the interview process started in May 2025 and it's now September 2025. After a few follow-ups, the recruiter kept saying 'no decision had been made and she hoped to have an update this month' over two months. It's been four months of this, and it's clear they aren't going to follow up or hire me. The Sales advisor even said, 'I’m going to tell them you’d be a great fit for this role.' The recruiter also said, 'I’m rooting for you!' multiple times. There was some movement at the top at Tivity recently with promotions, but that doesn't excuse leaving someone hanging for so long without any communication. Something feels off about this company, and I'd avoid them. A simple update would have been professional. Leadership taking this long to decide is a huge red flag. Tivity, do better. And skip the corporate saving-face responses.

Get ready for a few interviews. Since Covid, they've all been virtual, done over Zoom or Teams. You'll also need to give a client presentation, so make sure you prepare for that ahead of time.

Behavioral Other

The first interview was a phone call with a recruiter. The second interview was a video chat with two sales managers. I looked them up on LinkedIn and saw they worked together before, and it was obvious they were friends during the interview. It felt like if one of them didn't like me, I didn't stand a chance. One woman seemed nice and asked good questions, but the other looked bored and disengaged, like she didn't think I was right for the job. I didn't make it to the next stage. I think the company's lack of diversity played a part in why I didn't advance.
