Sales Executive
Had a 30-minute phone screen with the recruiter, then a 30-minute Zoom with the hiring manager, followed by a 30-minute Zoom with a Consultant, and finally a 30-minute Zoom with the company President. Everyone was nice and professional. Unfortunately, the interview process started in May 2025 and it's now September 2025. After a few follow-ups, the recruiter kept saying 'no decision had been made and she hoped to have an update this month' over two months. It's been four months of this, and it's clear they aren't going to follow up or hire me. The Sales advisor even said, 'I’m going to tell them you’d be a great fit for this role.' The recruiter also said, 'I’m rooting for you!' multiple times. There was some movement at the top at Tivity recently with promotions, but that doesn't excuse leaving someone hanging for so long without any communication. Something feels off about this company, and I'd avoid them. A simple update would have been professional. Leadership taking this long to decide is a huge red flag. Tivity, do better. And skip the corporate saving-face responses.

Sales Representative
I applied through Glassdoor and an HR person called me about 10 days later. The first interview was a phone call where they asked me some questions about the job and also about me. It wasn't too tough, and the person interviewing me was really helpful and knew a lot about what they're looking for. I had checked out their website beforehand, so I knew some stuff about the company and the industry, which I think helped me get a second interview. The next interview was with the Sales Director over the phone, and he was also really nice and gave me info about the sales job in Cleveland. Since I'm an experienced salesperson, I understand the importance of integrity, especially with a public company. Knowing about their stock and competitors really helped me get a face-to-face interview with the Sales Director. Honestly, this whole process has been one of the best interview experiences I've had. This company seems like a great place to work with good employee respect and awesome benefits.
- How would you handle these sales scenarios?
- Describe the sales situations you were presented with and explain your course of action.
Network Development and Data Integrity Manager
The interview was pretty standard. The HR person asked me some really basic stuff just to make sure I could talk about my resume. She was super nice, so I thought I'd definitely get a callback. We even had some casual chats, which was great. She gave me a date to expect a response and even told me to follow up and "say hello." I did follow up because I was really into the company's work. But I never heard back at all. It was a really unprofessional way to treat someone who took the time to prepare and interview, especially right now when jobs are so hard to find. It really makes you wonder how they treat their employees.
- When you think about "Microsoft Excel," what's the most advanced skill that comes to mind?
Brand Manager
The first interview was a phone call with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner, who went through my resume and work history thoroughly, asking good questions about my skills. After that, I spoke with the hiring manager for 30 minutes on the phone. He was a sharp executive and got straight to the point with questions about my specific brand experience. We finished the call at 30 minutes. I felt after the call that the hiring manager wasn't going to move forward with me. If you interview with Tivity, you'll need to be quick with your answers.
- Can you share some brands you look up to and explain your reasoning?
- Describe your expertise and the path you took to acquire it.
