First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tiqets.
Frontend Developer
So the whole thing kicked off around mid-June. I had an initial chat with HR, then another with the Head of Development. After that second chat, they sent over a React-based home assignment. It wasn't too tough, took a few hours. Once I submitted it, HR and I agreed they'd get back to me after the team reviewed it. But, crickets for the rest of the month, even after I followed up a bunch. Seems like HR just ghosted my emails. Overall, cool company, nice people, but the follow-through on the hiring process needs some work.

Frontend Developer
The whole application thing took over a month to complete. Then they got back saying 'We need someone with more experience.' They already knew my background, so that felt a bit off, like they weren't being straight with me.
- Was a technical assessment provided through GitHub?
Front-end Developer
I started with a quick HR call, then got a take-home test to fetch and display data from an API, plus some CSS work. After that, I had a few hours in the office with the tech team and then with top management. They sent an offer the next business day. The interview itself wasn't too tough; we mostly talked about my submitted code and some tricky situations. The chat with upper management was quite chill and friendly, so no stress there. The length of the in-office part was a bit intimidating at first, but I figured out that they'd use some of that time to show off the offices, the team, and the coffee spot, giving a good break between meetings.
