I had an initial recruiter call, who was really nice and helpful. After that, I went into the technical interview. That's where things went south. It was kinda awkward and they didn't seem prepared. There was a junior and a senior engineer on the panel, but they were super quiet and hard to talk to, making it a bit uncomfortable. During the coding part, it felt like they already knew the exact answer they wanted and weren't open to hearing other ways to solve it, which is weird because there's usually more than one way to code something. It was a bummer because it ruined what could have been a good experience, and I felt like the interview wasn't set up to fairly judge my skills. Hopefully, it's better for others.

The interview process was really good and had a chill vibe. It had 5 steps: first a phone interview, then a 1.5 hour coding interview using VS focusing on C#, with the team leader. After that, there was a 1.5 hour design interview, followed by an HR interview where I got to meet and chat with the team at the office. Finally, they made an offer. The whole thing felt fair and nice. The recruiter was quick to reply and gave good details. Overall, it was a super positive and fun hiring experience.

So the interview process is kinda broken down into a few steps. First, there's a quick 15-minute chat with someone from talent acquisition. Then, another 15-minute interview, this time with the team leader for the role you're looking at. After that, it gets more involved with a 2.5-hour coding interview, also with the team leader, which involves a coding assignment and then going over your solution. Next up is a 1-hour technical interview with a technical lead, where the focus is on design. Then, a 1-hour interview with an instructor about architecture review. Finally, a 1-hour HR interview. Oh, and after all that, they'll ask for references before they give you an offer.
