The first call went well and they set up a second interview. They then rescheduled the second round interview and finally cancelled the new time-slot via the appointment scheduler without any additional information. So basically the recruiter ghosted me mid interview process instead of informing that the position was no longer available for XYZ reason.

I started interviewing in early November and got rejected after the final round in early February. The first few rounds were okay with minor red flags. The final round was a presentation where I had to create a strategy deck from scratch. It took me several days of work, and I had friends in my field review it. During the call, the three women interviewing me seemed like they had much better things to be doing. I usually get great feedback on my interviews, but this one made me doubt my skills and personality. They stared blankly, clearly worked on other things, and offered little to no feedback. I left the call not wanting to work at this company anymore. To make matters worse, the rejection email I received after 3 months of discussions was a standard, automated response.

The hiring process went really well. I got referred by someone who works here already. First, I had a quick chat with HR. Then, I had a longer call, about an hour, with the hiring manager. We talked about the job and my background. After that, there was a panel interview and a project. The project was a cool assignment, and I actually used it a lot during the hour-long interview. I got the offer the very next day.
