The interview process had three stages. First, I had a phone chat with a recruiter. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager and did a live SQL test over video. The last step was a short presentation using sample data, followed by questions from three interviewers. It was challenging, but everyone was really nice and approachable. The recruiting team was responsive and flexible with scheduling, and the whole thing took about two weeks.

We first had a group interview with about 10 of us in a room and Jesse Eisenberg, the NYC manager of client strategy, asked us a series of personality questions. The second interview was one on one with Jesse Eisenberg and Kim Mansfield. Kim took notes and Jesse posed the questions; this time they literally went through my job history and what I learned from each skills wise. They asked what intrigued me most about SEM.

I applied through a referral. The first interview was with the hiring manager who looked at my experience and thought it was good, so they moved me to the next round. The second round was a take-home Tableau assessment. The third round was a panel interview where I just had to present the Tableau assessment. I got rejected a week later saying they wanted someone with more experience.

  • Can you describe your experience using Tableau?
