Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Time Warner Cable.
Call Center Representative
The interview was pretty straightforward, with just two parts: a phone call and then an in-person meeting. They asked clear questions, and the person interviewing me was nice. It felt like a good, professional chat overall.
- Can you tell me about a situation where you had to deal with a challenging customer and what steps you took to sort it out?
Customer Service Representative
The interview was friendly and personal, with a casual and comradeship feel. They emphasized teamwork, good work-life balance, and team effort. I worked for Time Warner Cable, now Spectrum. Management holds you inhumanely to KPIs. You're expected to control what you can't control. Supervisors are ridiculed in management meetings if they have lower numbers, and if you're the only male on the team, it'll be you. If you get fired, you'll need to call the EEOC.
- I don't recall the specific questions asked during the interview.
Call Center Representative
It includes typical interview questions and skills test - computer skills, customer service skills, skills applicable to the position. It is probably under 20 minutes. They also ask about your career history and goals.
- How would you guide someone through a cell phone issue?
- Tell me about your career history and your goals.
- How are your computer skills?
