Sales Associate
He first asked about how I'd approach the one-on-one interview with the Store Manager to see how I'd handle the role. Then, he asked about how I'd deal with certain situations on the job.
- How would you handle various customer types, particularly when dealing with numerous size and product requests under pressure?
- What strategies would you use to manage a high volume of customer demands simultaneously?
Sales Associate
The interview process was a bit of a mixed bag, leaning more towards casual than I expected. They didn't really mention the casual side of things until we were already in the interview, which kind of threw off people who were dressed and prepared for a more formal setting. On top of that, it felt pretty unprofessional because my interview for this sales associate role was conducted in a really busy hotel lobby.
- What are your hobbies outside of work?
Sales Associate
The hiring process was super quick 'cause I had two people already working there refer me. I went on VF Careers and filled out an online application, then did this online quiz about customer service and what I'd do on the job. After that, I called the store where I applied and told them I submitted my application and who referred me. Later that week, they called me back for an in-person interview, and then they let me pick my start date because they were hiring me.
- How would you sell a pen to a customer?
