It starts with applying, and if they need staff, they might call you back in a few days to a couple weeks. The whole thing can take a few days to several weeks. Most people have a casual, straightforward interview with a manager that lasts 5-20 minutes. They ask basic questions about your availability, customer service experience, ability to work fast, teamwork, handling tough customers, and why you want to work there. Some might ask about handling customer complaints or stressful situations. They decide pretty fast, maybe in a few days or up to two weeks. Offers are usually by phone or message. If hired, there's training with online modules or videos, hands-on stuff in the store, and orientation to the rules, usually starting about a week after you're hired.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Tell me about your availability and flexibility with scheduling.

It was an in-person interview. They asked me questions about hospitality and customer service, and also about my experience in the food service industry. They needed to know my availability for early morning shifts because the job requires working in a fast-paced environment.
- Can you define hospitality in your own words?
- What experience do you have in the food service industry?
- What's your availability for early morning shifts?

The interview process involved some simple questions about how you'd handle common situations. They asked about managing long lines, dealing with customer complaints, and your willingness to take on extra tasks or perform cleaning duties.
- How would you handle a situation where the customer line becomes excessively long?
- What would be your approach if a customer were to complain?
- Are you prepared to undertake responsibilities beyond your standard job description?
