Behavioral

I had a very basic interview where they asked about my background. They then explained the company and offered me the job on the spot. After I started training, they had an issue with one of my references and rescinded the offer, which was very disappointing. I feel like they used me because they were short-staffed and needed to cover their building, especially since I left my full-time job for this opportunity and now have nothing. I learned my lesson and won't do that again.

So the interview starts with a group of 4 other people, and we all introduce ourselves. Then the HR rep asks everyone the same questions in a group discussion. It's a bit awkward at first, but you just kind of build your answers while waiting for others to finish. After that, the rep picks some candidates for a second interview right away, and I actually got a job offer the same day!
