Total mismanagement. I applied for a UI developer role, but in the first round, they asked full stack questions. The second round involved the manager trying to insult me personally about technologies I'm unfamiliar with or haven't used. They didn't ask about technologies I'm interested in or have experience with. Architect-level questions were also included. I suspect the purpose of these questions and the arrogant attitude was to test patience, but it was low-standard and unprofessional. The organization approached me when I was on notice and looking for loyalty. They can't even match other offers I have.

I had an initial chat to get acquainted. Then, a technical person joined and surprisingly asked a lot of backend questions, even though I was told it was just a get-to-know-you call and I hadn't prepared for technical questions. They had two roles open, and it wasn't clear if I was being considered for frontend or backend. Later, I got an invite for a technical interview, and I prepared for a backend role. However, they ended up sending the frontend team to interview me, which was another surprise.

So, the interview process had 3 stages. First, they reviewed my CV. Then, I had to complete a technical task where I built a simple app using Javascript or React. The final stage was a video interview. In that, we discussed the technical task I submitted, and I was asked to provide commentary on it. They also asked me general questions about myself, my career aspirations, and my past experience.
