Behavioral Technical Case

So, I had to go through 4 interviews. First, I spoke with the office manager for a screening. Then, I had an interview with the VP of professional services. After that, I interviewed with the implementation manager. The fourth interview was a follow-up with the VP of professional services, and this one involved some tests on tools, data, and metrics. Honestly, none of them were super tough, but that's probably because I have a lot of experience in this area.

Behavioral Technical

This is a follow-up to a prior interview experience, as I can't edit older entries. My subsequent interactions occurred after the 30-day window. Following an initial disagreement on financials, the company contacted me again about 1.5 months later. This time, they mentioned considering a demotion in job title, changing it from full-time to contract, and proposed the same salary that was previously unsatisfactory. Naturally, this was unacceptable, and I reiterated my initial salary demands. Despite further extensive discussions, we still couldn't reach an agreement on the salary that was established as the baseline expectation from the very beginning of the entire process. It was certainly a unique experience, to say the least. I wish them luck in finding their ideal candidate and hope that this interview process isn't indicative of the overall employment experience at Tideworks.

Technical Coding Behavioral Case Other

The interview was about 3 hours long and covered front-end technical questions, back-end technical questions in Java, product-related questions, testing questions, and a discussion about culture fit. Everything felt relevant to the daily tasks of a developer. It wasn't too stressful, and the interviewers were friendly and open to questions. They also shared insights into what they enjoy about working at Tideworks and areas for growth. It seemed like a great team and a good place to join.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It started with a phone screening by the recruiter. Then there was a panel interview with the team, followed by another interview with the hiring manager and director. After that, there were more chats with the hiring manager before I got the offer. Since it was during COVID, all interviews were done over the phone or video call. The interviews were professional and friendly, with a good mix of situational and practical questions. Doing interviews remotely actually worked out well because I didn't have to take time off work or travel. You just need to be ready with all the questions you'd normally ask if you were there in person.

  • Demonstrate your ability to analyze a UI, ask pertinent questions, and offer recommendations through a UI review exercise.
  • Provide a writing sample that outlines a process or procedure.
