Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tide.

The interview process was very streamlined and open. It consisted of about 3 rounds, and all the people interviewing me were quite nice. They also included a practical assessment. A cross-functional interview was part of it, which helped me understand the other people I'd be collaborating with.
- What are your current company's KPIs?

The interview process was very transparent. I went through 3 rounds of interviews. All the interviewers made me feel comfortable during the process. I was informed well in advance about the interview dates. Overall, it was a nice interaction with everyone.

The interview process itself was smooth and quick. I met with several team members who gave me great insights into their future plans and current team dynamics. I received an offer and signed the contracts. However, Tide rescinded the offer after a disagreement with the recruitment agency that placed me. They claimed they misunderstood the day rate, thinking it included the agency fee, which is untrue as the contract I received clearly stated the agreed-upon day rate. While I understand that roles can be pulled due to budget changes or lack of need, I'm frustrated by the dishonesty and the use of this as an excuse. They also promised a call to discuss the situation, but it's been over three weeks with no contact from Tide, despite my attempts to reach out. My advice to candidates interviewing with Tide is to be cautious when accepting offers, as I declined two other final-stage interviews upon receiving Tide's contract, and those opportunities are now gone.
- Tell me about your experience hiring for tech roles.
